1). Why GURUKULAM?
GURUKULAM is the first of its kind ONLINE SHLOKA SCHOOL which caters to 50 kids across the globe all through SKYPE/WHATSAPP Videos. The main aim of the school is to keep traditional roots in place and also keep our children (our future) abreast of our cultural knowledge.
Kids can take lessons all at the convenience of their homes and at convenient timings.
2). Why should my child study SHLOKAS at an early age?
Exposure to Shlokas helps the child build confidence and courage, fight negative emotions like restlessness, anxiety, and anger. Make prayer time a part of their daily schedule and read a new language –SANSKRIT. As per research findings, the new language helps jump reading skills and math skills.
It also makes neural connections in the brain to develop memory and foster creativity.
3). What age should the child be to take Shloka lessons?
Kids between 3-16 years can be admitted into GURUKULAM.
4). What is the duration of the program?
The program takes anywhere between 2-3 years. However, the period of time that a student is enrolled in the program varies and I personally believe learning is a lifelong process.
5). What is the teaching schedule?
GURUKULAM operates year round with open enrolments, so you can start anytime.
6). What is the average class size?
My program focuses on private instruction, one on one individualized sessions.
7). Will I need to buy any material for the program?
Yes. Gurukulam follows a uniform curriculum for kids across the globe. All the kids need to buy the material to start taking their lessons.
8). Can I be with my child as a part of the class?
Yes. Parents sure can accompany their children and be a part of the class.
9). What is the class duration and schedule?
I do 8 half an hour sessions a month/child i.e., Two – half an hour sessions a week/child.
10) Is there an Enrolment/Registration Fee at GURUKULAM?
No. We have no Enrolment/Registration fees at this point in time.
11) I am an adult. Can I take lessons at GURUKULAM?
Yes. Absolutely GURUKULAM is open to everyone across the globe.
12). What if I enroll and for some reason cannot continue the program? Is there a refund policy?
No. We do not have a refund policy.
13). Are there trial sessions at GURUKULAM?
Due to paucity of time, we DO NOT offer trial sessions.

15). Fees & Fine
The fee becomes due the next following day of completion of the signed up session failing which a fine of 250 /- will be imposed
